The Partnering Group is pleased to announce that Katie Catlin has joined the firm in the Digital Commerce and Customer Development Practices. Katie will help companies optimize digital disruption by transforming the siloed brand, category, and commercial objectives into actionable and connected strategies that generate demand and conversion across retailers’ digital and physical shelves. She also specializes in helping companies develop high-performing cultures and teams.
Katie’s career has spanned CPG, Foodservice, Home Centers, and the Automotive Aftermarket. She was a leader in Sales, Category Management, and Marketing with Coca-Cola, The Kohler Company, ConAgra Foods, and The Clorox Company. After Clorox divested the Auto division, Katie was part of building Armored AutoGroup (AAG), a PE-backed start-up within the Automotive Aftermarket for the brand’s Armor All, STP, and Tuff Stuff. After AAG merged with IDQ and acquired the A/C Refrigerant portfolio, Katie led the Shopper Marketing, Category Management, and Marketing Operation Teams. She has excelled at transforming underutilized teams into agile centers of excellence.
After Armored AutoGroup was acquired by Spectrum Brands, Katie built the Auto division’s eCommerce and Digital Marketing teams and led M&A projects within the newly forming on-demand economy. After Spectrum Brands sold the Rayovac and Automotive divisions to Energizer Holdings, Katie played a lead role in transitioning Spectrum’s Category Management, eCommerce, and Shopper Marketing teams. She then went on to lead Shopper Activation, Retailer Media, and Omnichannel efforts for the 12 brands within Energizer’s Batteries, Lights, and Auto portfolio across Energizer North America.
Katie earned her BS and MBA from The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
