Global Retailer
Background
Retailer required a more agile and innovative way to develop the 1M + employees in its workforce.
Objective
Redefine, reorganize and re-staff its internal university.
TPG Approach
- TPG started by defining the structure, including the roles, responsibilities and competency requirements of the jobs in the new organization.
- Next, TPG designed the assessments and other tools for staffing the new roles.
- Finally, TPG managed the entire assessment and selection process, including participating as interview panelists, overseeing panel discussion on candidate performance, and facilitating the selection decision meetings.
Impact/Results
- Redesign and re-staffing resulted in a more responsive and up-to-date university platform.
