Sarah Avila Murphy is a Partner at TPG. Sarah advises primarily in North America (USA & Canada) Strategy, Marketing and Innovation with additional support to the Organizational Design and Customer Development Practices.

Prior to joining TPG, Sarah spent 18 years with The Procter & Gamble Co working across the Beauty, Family, FemCare OU, the Health Care OU, P&G Ventures, Corporate Functions and Media. She has launched new to the world products and brands constructively disrupting markets and delivering double digit growth – founded on deep human insights and advanced analytics. Beyond Brand Strategy Sarah is a founding member of the P&G Media Team, insourcing and activating both the US and China groups delivering +10% savings.

Sarah is a passionate learner, reader, novice gardener and tennis player. She spends her time volunteering both in her children’s school and within the Greater Cincinnati community. She has two children with her husband, Chris, of 14 years, Lillian and James.
